Top Three Rookie Wide Receivers

The 2015 NFL season will see plenty of new talent lining up at the wide receiver position across the league. Several were taken in the first round, and all 32 teams are looking for explosive talent to excel in a passing league. Those playing in fantasy football money leagues should be taking a close look at the very best coming into the NFL. Here’s a breakdown of the top three rookies.

Amari Cooper

He was the first rookie taken in the draft, and he seems like the safest bet in fantasy football money leagues in 2015. The Oakland Raiders are going to be trying to utilize him as much as possible with their young quarterback Derek Carr. They really have a few other options throw the ball to, so getting close to 1000 yards in 2015 seems reasonable. He might not find the end zone that much, but that has more to do with his team.

Nelson Agholor

Philadelphia has big plans for their first round pick, as Agholor has a chance to step in right away and be pretty productive. He has very good hands, and his ability to create space should allow him to get close to 900 yards receiving this season. Philadelphia likes to play up-tempo, so that will give him additional chances other receivers in fantasy football money leagues might not get.

Breshad Perriman

The injury concerns for Kevin White move him out of the top three. Instead, Perriman seems like the safer bet. Some people were surprised to see him move into the first round in 2015, but Baltimore seems pretty confident in his ability to play well right away. He is basically going to be asked to replace Torrey Smith from the beginning of his career. Those are some big shoes to fill, but he should be able to live up to expectations as long as he stays focused.
